VOA Massachusetts is looking to hire full-time and part-time recovery specialists for its women’s residential recovery treatment programs, Shiloh House, recently opened in Jamaica Plain, and the soon to be reopened Hello House in Dorchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to help women in early recovery from drug and alcohol use disorders. Our program works with the women for four to six months and is designed to offer a safe treatment environment and holistic wraparound services. We work with multiple treatment modalities such as trauma-informed care, DBT, and we specialize in dual diagnosis. Our programs are funded by the Department of Public Health/Bureau of Substance Abuse Services.
As a Cover Staff person, you will maintain a safe and secure environment; supervise residents in group and other program activities, groups and routines; provide informal counseling and crisis intervention as assigned or as needed.
