Job Description:

VOA Massachusetts is looking to hire cover staff for the Hello House, our residential recovery program for men overcoming substance abuse and addiction located on Massachusetts Ave. in Boston.

In this position, you will maintain a safe and secure environment; supervise residents in group and other program activities, groups and routines; provide informal counseling and crisis intervention as assigned or as needed.

We offer excellent benefits to full time staff including Blue Cross Blue Shield medical and dental insurance, company paid short and long term disability and life insurance, a flexible spending account to cover medical and child care expenses tax free, paid vacation, two weeks sick time, 13 paid holidays, and a very generous retirement plan.

The ideal candidate will have Bachelor of Arts in related field or the equivalent and experience in substance abuse treatment services – OR – High School Diploma and one or more years of experience in substance abuse treatment services.  Must have demonstrated knowledge of and or a willingness to support self-help and 12-step modality
